Park Albatros is ideally located on the Tuscan coast. The site is set in a pine forest with emplacements scattered amongst the high trees, offering shade from the hot sun. This is a superb area that begs discovery - why not hire bikes onsite and go exploring?
This is an ideal site for families with plenty going on to keep children amused. The beautiful beach is a 15 minute walk away (direct access across a road). Here, the sea is clear and ideal for swimming - perfect for lazing away long afternoons. The spacious pool complex includes a lagoon style swimming pool, waterslides and covered pool that will be loved by children of all ages. Relax with a delicious meal on the terrace of the restaurant, before enjoying the evening entertainment which includes live music & disco nights (high season).

Our Canvas Maxi Tent sleeps up to 6, and is the ideal choice for a true camping holiday experience. With its unique and spacious design, it is a great opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors, but with all the creature comforts. The Maxi Tent is fully equipped with everything that you need for a great self-catering camping holiday, 21st century-style.

Spacious living area with side awning that can be rolled up (access may be restricted on some campsites), ideal for alfresco living on your camping holiday.

Double room and second twin room that can be divided by a curtain. Fully, sprung beds. Double room has wardrobe rail with captive coat hangers.

Our campsites all offer toilet and shower facilities, located a short walk from our tent emplacements.

There is a fully equipped kitchen, plus shower room and separate toilet.

Our 3-bedroomed Select mobile homes are very spacious. They offer a comfortable living space that is ideal if you are travelling with friends or extended family. There are 3 bedrooms, a shower room with toilet and sink, plus a roomy, open plan living area with comfy sofas and a fully-equipped kitchen.

Scottish Local Area around Park Albatros
From Livorno and the north:
Take the A12 autostrada towards Rome then, after the toll barrier, join the SS1 (Strada Statale 1 'Aurelia') heading south towards Grosseto and Rome.
After about 30km take the exit for San Vincenzo Nord and follow the signs for San Vincenzo and Piombino.
*At the T-junction, turn left towards San Vincenzo.
Follow this road through a temporary roundabout and under a mine 'cable-car’. At the next roundabout go straight across then, at the next roundabout, turn right.
Follow this road, Via Roma, under the railway then, at the next roundabout, turn left on to Via della Principessa towards Piombino.
Leave San Vincenzo and continue along this road for about 6.5km, past hotels and campsites.
At a bend to the right, turn left (there is a large sign for Park Albatros at the bend).
Follow this road into the campsite.
From Rome and the south:
Take the A12 towards Civitavecchia then, at the end of the autostrada, take the SS1 towards Grosseto and Pisa.
Pass Grosseto, Follonica and Piombino.
At San Vincenzo the SS1 passes through a tunnel.
Less than 1km after this tunnel, take the exit for San Vincenzo Nord, follow the signs for San Vincenzo and Piombino then follow the directions from * above.

Park Albatros is situated close to the small town of Populonia Alta (10 mins drive), a typical Tuscan hill-top village with an ancient castle. The popular resort of San Vincenzo is a ten minute drive away. Here you will find all the facilities you need, including a supermarket and restaurants, as well as a wide, golden beach.
Visit Aqua Village at Follonica, a waterpark with a host of activities that will keep the whole family amused, The thermal spa at Calidario is a five minute drive from site. Spend the day relaxing in the naturally hot sulphuric water and indulge in one of the treatments on offer, including mud baths and saunas.
