Beautiful coast and countryside, exciting attractions and one of the world’s loveliest cities on your doorstep - and a break in our holiday lodges in West Lothian is the perfect way to enjoy them. Compact and beautiful, a delightful blend of towering medieval buildings and graceful Georgian elegance, Edinburgh is a city probably best explored on foot - at every step you’ll encounter some new and unexpected delight. There are some great days out within easy reach of our holiday lodges in West Lothian. A boat trip on the Union Canal’s Falkirk Wheel, the world’s first and only rotating boat lift, promises an unforgettable experience. The magnificent ruins of a great Royal Palace lying beside Linlithgow Loch, and the Black Middens Bastle at Blackness are both worth a visit, but for hours of lighthearted family fun, head for the thrills of M&D’s Scotland Theme Park.

If you enjoy being away from it all and very quiet this is the place - in the woods surrounded by countryside and nature but not far from the local town. I would recommend Hideaway Lodges in Midlothian every time.
