Camping le Capanne is an excellent choice for a relaxing family holiday. Ideally located in the heart of Tuscany, just a mile from the nearest beach, life here centres around the ivy-clad bar and restaurant, housed in a converted Tuscan barn. Welcome shade is provided by tall pine, olive and eucalyptus trees, or you can cool off in the lagoon-style pool. Surrounded by a large, grassy sunbathing area and with a hidden waterslide, it is sure to be a hit. There is a wealth of activities available on site, from a popular soccer school and children's club for the little ones, to exercise classes and entertainment for the whole family. While the nearby road and railway line make this an ideal base from which to explore, with so much going on it will be difficult to drag the family away to discover this beautiful area.

Our Canvas Maxi Tent sleeps up to 6, and is the ideal choice for a true camping holiday experience. With its unique and spacious design, it is a great opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors, but with all the creature comforts. The Maxi Tent is fully equipped with everything that you need for a great self-catering camping holiday, 21st century-style.

4 ring cooker, with grill and fridge with ice box. Crockery and cutlery is provided.
Living room
Spacious living area with side awning that can be rolled up (access may be restricted on some campsites), ideal for alfresco living on your camping holiday.
Bedrooms
Double room and second twin room that can be divided by a curtain. Fully, sprung beds. Double room has wardrobe rail with captive coat hangers.
Bathroom
Our campsites all offer toilet and shower facilities, located a short walk from our tent emplacements.

Our Comfort Plus mobile homes are ideal for larger families or for 2 couples sharing. There are 2 bedrooms, a double and a twin (a drop down bunk sleeps an extra child on some campsites), plus an open plan living area with dining table and sofas that convert into an extra bed.

Scottish Local Area around Camping le Capanne
From Livorno in the north, take the A12 *towards Rome and Grosseto and then join the SS1 Aurelia' heading south toward Grosseto.
Leave this road at the 'La California' exit and turn right towards Marina de Bibbona.
*The site is located about 3kms along this road on the left hand side.
The entrance to the campsite is indicated by a large yellow-lettered sign, and is signposted 1km in advance.
From the south, exit the SS1 at la California and turn left towards la California/ Bibbona.
Then follow the above directions from *
From Pisa airport, exit from Via delle Colombaie in the direction of Genova, Firenze and Livorno.
Take the A12 and follow directions from Livorno as above.

Le Capanne is located one and a half miles from the village of La California, where you will find a small selection of shops and cafes and Cecina (2.5mls), has excellent facilities. The nearest beach is just over a mile from site at Marina di Bibbona. Pisa is just a 40 minute drive along the stunning coastal road. Noise may be heard from nearby the road and railway line.
Visit the unique white sands and clear turquoise waters of Vada beach (7mls). Enjoy a thrilling day out at the Siena Palio, a daring bareback horse race around Il Campo that takes place twice a year on 2 July and 16 August.
