Take a break at one of our holiday lodges in Dumfriesshire and enjoy its delightful mix of wild, unspoilt hills, wooded valleys and fertile plains bordering the Solway Firth. Red squirrels and birds of prey thrive in the great forests, and, surrounding the fairytale, moated castle ruins, the meadow and marshland nature trails of the Caerlaverock Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust are a magnet for birdwatchers enjoying lodge holidays in Dumfriesshire. |

We found the location of this lodge very convenient for seeing the area. A few minutes drive from a small town with restaurants and cafes as well as supermarkets was ideal. Also very near to good attractions like the Red Deer Park, forest trails and a great drive to the Mull of Galloway. |

Spent a 4 night weekend at Newton Stewart in the Lady Charlotte lodge. Site was well laid out and had a lovely relaxing time. Spa experience was enjoyed by all that used it. Site was quiet and there was very little intrusion by other persons on site. Newton Stewart is only a 15/20 minute walk. Two large supermarkets for those things needing to be replaced. The Crown Hotel provided good bar food and the bar area shows sporting events on satellite T.V. I would certainly recommend these lodges and surrounding area and hope return in the future. |

This site is the best for a relaxing holiday, the cabins are lovely and stocked well, staff are very unobtrusive, we had cabin 27 which had an enclosed balcony that was ideal for the kids/dog. The Jacuzzi was easy to use and the kids loved it. Getting bathrobes provided was a nice touch as it was cold getting to and from the Jacuzzi in January! |

This holiday park was the perfect location for a girls weekend away, perfect for relaxing and catching up away from the rat race. The local salons offering all kinds of treatments and all very friendly. Local pubs had lovely food and gardens and again very, very friendly. This is also a great location for families, lots of parks, walks and exploring to be done. Perfect for a round of golf as well as it is only 5 minute walk! |
